A while after Patchwork came into my life, everything around me got into a transformation process, including my bedroom, that little by little became a "craft room"
Originally my bedroom had a balcony, but I hate it, I think it is the biggest waist of space, besides, everytime you want to open a window, you have a door (very clunky, and that take half of the room you have available), so before we came into the house I got rid of both, the door and the balcony, installing a tempered glass with a blackout, transforming the balcony on an extension of the bedroom.
It's exactly in this part of the room that I started to accumulate my craft stuff... I took a little table that I found useless somewhere in the house to the balcony to put my sewing machine on. Then the fabric peaces started to came in, and soon they were accommodated in a basket on the floor... Until the day that the baskets overflowed. This was the time to take some action!
Pouco tempo depois que o patchwork entrou na minha vida, tudo a minha volta entrou em um processo de transformação, incluindo meu quarto, que pouco a pouco foi virando um "ateliê".
Originalmente meu quarto tinha uma sacada, porém eu odeio sacada, acho um espaço super perdido, além de que toda vez que você quer abrir a janela se depara com uma porta (muito trambolhuda e que ocupava metade do espaço util quarto), então, antes da mudança demos fim na porta e na sacada, intalando uma janela de vidro temperado com blackout, transformando assim a sacada em uma extenção do quarto.
E foi justamente nesse espaço que eu comecei a "acumular" minhas coisinhas de costura... transportei uma mesinha que estava abandonada por ai até a sacada para acomodar minha maquina de costura. Então foram chegando os paninhos, que foram acomodados em cestas de vime que ficavam no chão... Até que as cestas comecaram a transbordar! Ai chegou a hora de tomar uma atitude mais drastica!
I called our carpenter, Valdir de Oliveira from Alvorada Moveis Planejados at Sumaré/SP and I ordered a cabinet with an all purposes table. I schedule myself to paint the balcony walls a week before the delivery date. But, as things never turn out the way we want, on that week, it rained every single day and one of these days I got home and found water everywhere...
The gutter clogged!
...and the accumulated water decided to invade my bedroom!
Since there was not turning back, the painting that would be done only in part of the room, had to be extended to the rest of it... We spent a great weekend in the paint!

Me programei para pintar as paredes da sacada na semana antes da data de entrega. Porém, como as coisas nunca saem como queremos, naquela semana choveu todos os dias e em um desses dias, cheguei em casa e me deparei com água para todos os lados...
A calha entupiu!
...e a água acumulada resolveu invadir o meu quartinho!
Tá no inferno, abraça o capeta: A Pintura que seria apenas em uma parte do quarto, se extendeu para o comodo todo... passamos o final de semana na tinta!

Good Morning Everyone!
I must say, from everything I've done so far, this was the most challenging project. A girl from work came to me and said that she had bought a kindle and was trying to find a cover for it that was both pretty and protective. She said that she wanted it to look like a regular book cover with a zipper on it and to be hard and soft enough in case it falls.
This was a very special request, from my mom! She wanted a ver delicate curtain to put under the garden sink with flowers in a watering can. It is supposed to be two sides, but I only finished the one half so far... What do you think?
Never in my life I liked the color pink. It's too obvious for a girl to like pink, my favorite color is blue! Though lately I am really enjoying this combination: Pink + Brown. It is so inspired in my dear friend Karla's wedding, that will have these colors, and I am really in love with it.

Happy Friday everyone. Here is another vanity bag and jewelry case.
I started this a while ago, but just now I got to finish it.
I must confess that when I was younger I used to wear a lot of different necklaces, bracelets, earings and rings as well as make up all the time... It all changed when I started to work at the company I work now. It must be because I do not have much free time, I spent 3 hours traveling everyday and when I wake up I don't really feel like dressing up.
Outside:
This is a different organizer, smaller one. Can be used to put make up and girly things!
