Flores - Flowers

Fazia muito tempo que eu não fazia flores de patchwork para cabelo e quando minha mãe chegou dizendo que precisava de uma lembrancinha express para duas irmãs gêmeas, achei a oportunidade perfeita para fazer um par de flores.

It has been a long time since the last time I made some hair flowers, so when my mom came to me asking for an express souvenir for twin girls I thought this was the perfect situation to make a pair of flowers.

Necessaire - Vanity Bag

Esta necessaire eu fiz para substituir minha antiga que já estava toda desmilinguida de tanto usar!

Eu me apaixonei por esse tecido de carretéis à primeira vista, achei muito a minha cara fazer uma necessaire com ele!!

This vanity bag I made to myself to replace my old one that was already falling apart since I use it every single day!

I fell in love with this broderie fabric the first time I saw it and I thought it would be so me to use it for my new vanity bag!

DIY: Fun Headset / Fones Divertidos

This is what you will need:

1) An old headset

Você vai precisar de:

1) Fones velhinhos

 

 2) Fabric

3) Low loft batting

 4) Thread

 5) Needle

 6) Stick

2) Tecido

3) Manta acrílica

 4) Linha
5) Agulha

 6) Vareta

You will use the headset itself as a measurement parameter, you just need to put it on the batting and use a regular pen to mark around it. Then you will cut it on the exact same size as the headset.

As for the fabric you will need to cut it an inch bigger than the batting, placing the batting on the fabric and marking around it, then you just use a ruler to add one inch to the original circle. This must be done on the wrong side of the fabric.

Você vai usar o próprio fone para tirar as medidas, para isso, coloque-o sobre a manta acrílica e com uma caneta comum, trace a volta do fone. Corte a manta no tamanho exato do fone.
Quanto ao tecido, você precisará corta-lo 2cm maior que a manta, para isso, coloque a manta sobre o tecido e trace a volta, então, com o auxílio de uma régula, acrescente 2cm ao traço original. Os traços devem ser feitos do lado de dentro do tecido.

Turn the fabric's side inside, about 1/4 of an inch, and start stitching it all the way around.

Without knotting it, place the batting inside the fabric.

Vire toda a lateral do tecido para dentro, aproximadamente 1/2 cm e costure toda a volta do tecido.

Sem arrematar, coloque a manta dentro do fuxico de tecido. 

 

Place the fabric + batting on the headset and start pulling the thread in order to adjust it.

Coloque o tecido + manta no fone e puxe a linha até o tecido se ajustar ao fone.

You will need to use the stick to help you place the fabric as tight as possible into the headset (be aware not to break the thread during this step)

Com o auxilio da vareta, empurre o tecido, para que ele fique o mais apertado o possivel no fone (muito cuidado nesta hora para não quebrar a linha)

Once the fabric is pretty tight to the headset,  knot the threat, pass it thru the fabric and cut it.

Ta da! Your Fun Headset is done!!

Uma vez que o tecido esteja bem ajustado ao fone, de um nó na linha, passe por dentro do tecido e corte o excesso.
Tcharam! Seu Fone esta prontinho!
